Kupn is committed to the highest standards of accuracy, fairness, and transparency. These standards apply to every piece of content we publish, regardless of format, topic, or author.
Accuracy and Fact-Checking
Every factual claim in every article is verified before publication. Our fact-checking process involves cross-referencing claims against primary sources — peer-reviewed research, official data, direct interviews — wherever possible. We do not rely on secondary sources alone for significant factual claims.
All statistics are sourced and linked. All expert quotes are verified with the source. All scientific claims are reviewed by at least one domain expert before publication. When scientific evidence is contested or uncertain, we say so explicitly.
Independence and Conflicts of Interest
Kupn does not accept sponsored content, native advertising, or any form of payment for editorial coverage. Our editorial decisions are made entirely by our editorial team, without input from advertisers, investors, or sponsors.
Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest — financial relationships, institutional affiliations, or personal connections — that might be relevant to their work. Disclosures are published with the article.
Corrections Policy
We correct errors promptly and transparently. When a factual error is identified, we update the article, add a correction notice at the top of the piece, and note the date of the correction. We do not silently alter articles. We do not delete articles to avoid accountability.
Opinion and Analysis
We clearly distinguish between news reporting, analysis, and opinion. Opinion pieces represent the views of the author, not of Kupn as an institution. We publish a wide range of perspectives, including views we disagree with, as long as they are grounded in evidence and argued in good faith.
Sources and Attribution
We use named sources wherever possible. When we use anonymous sources, we explain why anonymity was granted and what steps we took to verify the information. We do not grant anonymity to sources who are simply trying to avoid accountability for their statements.
